About Dr. Griffin
Dr. Robert Griffin is a seasoned practitioner dedicated to tailoring health care to each individual patient at The Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center located in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania.
He completed his medical school at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine on Long Island followed by a family practice internship at Metropolitan Hospital in Philadelphia. He then spent three years working in the Indian Health Service on reservations in Montana and Arizona prior to completing his internal medicine residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He then completed a rheumatology fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and has been practicing rheumatology since 1991. His areas of special interest include rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, osteoporosis, and scleroderma.
He enjoys spending time with his family (especially his grandchildren), traveling, and participating in medical missions both locally and abroad.
